Update from the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team

Dear Resident,

Here’s a quick round up from me and the rest of the Hall Green neighbourhood policing team.

What’s been happening

Retail Theft Focus. We are actively working with local retailers to reduce shoplifting and retail crime across Hall Green, which is often a gateway to other issues. This partnership work includes targeted patrols and sharing crime prevention advice with businesses.

Community Patrols. PCSO Devey has continued to conduct regular Street Watches in key areas, focusing on community-identified hotspots for anti-social behaviour and speeding, ensuring a visible police presence.

Property Protection. As the evenings get darker, we are setting up dedicated crime prevention surgeries to help you protect your property. This proactive work is vital for reducing burglaries and vehicle crime in the run-up to winter.

We have three events lined up for next week! Please come and say Hi if you are able:

Crime Prevention Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Wickes Hall Green on Tuesday 14th October between 11am - 12:30pm.

Community Drop-in: PC Daniels will be at Highfield Hall on Tuesday 14th October between 11am - 1pm.

Crime Prevention Drop-in: PCSOs will be at Aldi Hall Green on Friday 17th October between 11am - 12:30pm.

All those who attended our last community drop-in held by myself at Highfield Hall. It was a fantastic opportunity to hear about the issues concerning the community so we can act upon them. Your engagement helps us focus our efforts where they are most needed.
